Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd., the operator of floorplan.chat. Please read them before you create an account. Last updated 9 October 2026.
floorplan.chat (https://floorplan.chat) is operated by Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd. (“宁波探极科技有限公司”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using floorplan.chat you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.
2. The service
floorplan.chat is a spatial design agent. You describe a space and may attach reference images. The agent proposes a plan, and after you confirm it, produces a floor plan you can view in 2D and 3D and change by chat or by editing the drawing directly.
The service is in beta. Features, the model catalog, and limits can change, and a run can fail, stop, or produce an unusable result. We may change, suspend, or end any part of the service.
3. Eligibility, location, and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You can sign up with email and password, or with Google or Apple. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us at contact@tangi.tech if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We do not offer the service to people in mainland China. Do not use the service if you are in mainland China, or if using it would break the law where you are. If you use it from anywhere else, you are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
4. Content rules (no NSFW)
This applies to everything you put into the service (chat messages, project titles, reference images, and anything you ask the agent to generate) and to how you use the output. Do not submit, request, or produce:
- sexual or pornographic content, or nudity;
- any sexual content involving minors, in any form, which is reported where the law requires;
- graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies or incites violence or self-harm;
- hateful or harassing content aimed at people because of who they are;
- content that promotes terrorism, weapons for harm, or other illegal activity;
- private information about another person without their permission;
- material you do not have the right to use, such as someone else’s copyrighted plans or photos.
The service is for designing spaces. Requests that use a floor plan as a pretext for any of the above are covered too. We may refuse a request, remove content, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without notice where the breach is serious.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- try to access other people’s accounts or projects;
- probe, scan, overload, or attack the service or its infrastructure;
- scrape the service or use it in an automated way we have not allowed;
- work around usage limits, or share or resell your access;
- use the service to build a competing dataset or model from its output;
- use the service to break any law.
6. Your content and the output
You keep any rights you have in what you submit (“input”), and, as between you and us, you own the drawings and text the service produces for you (“output”). You give us a licence to store, process, display, and send input and output to the model providers described in the Privacy Policy, only as needed to run, secure, and support the service.
Output is generated by AI models. It can be inaccurate, and similar requests from other users can produce similar output. You are responsible for checking output before you use it.
7. Not a construction document
Drawings from the service are design drafts. Dimensions, areas, and layouts are not verified against building codes, structural requirements, or the real site. They are not a substitute for a licensed architect, engineer, or surveyor, and must not be used on their own to build, renovate, or obtain permits.
8. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans and their allowances are described on the Pricing page. A plan is billed monthly and includes a number of frontier model messages, a number of standard model messages, a number of image generations, and unlimited human edits. A model message is one chat turn that runs a model. An image generation is one rendered view produced from the plan. A human edit is a direct change on the drawing and does not use a model message or an image generation. Frontier models are the three in the catalog with the highest average of published input and output prices; the others are standard.
Unused messages and unused image generations do not carry over to the next month. When paid plans open, the price, the renewal date, and how to cancel will be shown before you pay. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current month stays active until it ends. Refunds are handled as required by law, and you can ask at contact@tangi.tech.
Purchasing is not open yet. During beta, official credits stay unlimited. Turns you run on your own OpenRouter key are billed by OpenRouter to you under their terms and do not use a plan allowance.
9. Third-party services
Model turns are processed by OpenRouter and the model provider you select. Signing in with Google or Apple uses their services. Their own terms apply to their part, and we are not responsible for their availability or behaviour.
10. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account at contact@tangi.tech. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or where the law requires it. Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, and 15 continue after the account ends.
11. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that output will be accurate or complete.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Your responsibility
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you submitted or because you broke these terms, you will cover the reasonable costs that result, to the extent the law allows.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
15. Governing law and disputes
Mandatory consumer and data protection laws of the place where you live still apply to you. Otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Please contact us at contact@tangi.tech first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. If that does not work, the dispute goes to the court or dispute resolution body that has jurisdiction under the applicable law.
