What you are paying for
You describe a room or a whole plan, with a reference image if you have one. The agent proposes a plan and waits for you to confirm it. The result is a floor plan in 2D and 3D. After that you can send another message, or edit the drawing yourself. More of how this works is on About.
A model message is one chat turn that runs a model. It uses the frontier allowance or the standard allowance according to the model selected for that turn. An image generation is one rendered view of the plan (for example Photoreal or Watercolor). A human edit is a direct change on the drawing, such as moving a wall or placing a door, a window, or furniture, and does not use a model-message or image-generation allowance.
