floorplan.chat

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd., the operator of floorplan.chat, collects, why, who else processes it, and the choices you have. Last updated 9 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

floorplan.chat is operated by Ningbo Tanji Technology Co., Ltd. (“宁波探极科技有限公司”, “we”, “us”), which is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact contact@tangi.tech.

2. What we collect

Account. With email sign-up: your email address and a hash of your password (never the password itself). With Google or Apple: the account identifier they send, and the email, name, and profile image if they send those. We also record when you accepted the Terms of Service and this policy. Accounts created before that checkbox existed have no recorded acceptance time.

Projects. Your chat messages, project titles, reference images you upload, the floor-plan source and previews, rendered images you generate from a plan, and the history of edits made by you and by the agent.

Model execution logs. For each model turn, a private log of the prompt, the model’s output, token usage, diagnostics, and how the turn ended. API keys are removed from these logs.

Your own API key. If you save an OpenRouter key in Settings, it is stored encrypted and decrypted only for turns you choose to run on it.

Technical data. Our web server records requests, including IP address, time, the page or API requested, the referring page, and browser user agent.

3. Why we use it

  • To provide the service you asked for: your account, your projects, and running the model turns you send (performance of our agreement with you).
  • To keep the service secure, investigate failed or stopped runs, prevent abuse, and enforce the content rules in the Terms (our legitimate interests).
  • To record that you accepted the Terms and this policy (our legitimate interests).
  • To reply when you contact us (our legitimate interests, or your request).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your projects to train our own models.

4. Who else processes it

  • OpenRouter and model providers. A chat turn sends the prompt, project context, and any reference images on that turn to OpenRouter and on to the provider of the model you selected (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or DeepSeek). An image generation sends a preview of the plan, the style you chose, and any room or floor name to OpenRouter and the image model. Their handling is governed by their own policies.
  • Creem. User-written text is sent to Creem’s Moderation API before a model runs, so we can block prompts that break the content rules. Their handling is governed by their own policy.
  • Google and Apple. If you sign in with them, they process the sign-in under their own policies.
  • Hosting. The service runs on servers rented from a hosting provider that stores the data on our behalf.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect people, the service, or our rights.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. A project, with its messages and edit history, is kept until you delete it from the home page or your account is deleted. Model execution logs and server request logs are kept for operations and security, and are removed when no longer needed or when your account is deleted. Data may stay in backups for a limited time after deletion.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can delete projects yourself. For anything else, including deleting your account, email contact@tangi.tech. We may need to confirm it is you. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies and local storage

Sign-in uses cookies to keep your session and to protect the sign-in flow. Creating an account with Google or Apple also sets a cookie, for ten minutes, recording that you agreed to the Terms and this policy, so the sign-in callback can check it. These cookies are needed for the service to work. We don’t use cookies for analytics or advertising.

The browser’s local storage remembers that you closed the cookie notice. If you start a request before signing in, session storage keeps the draft until you return from sign-in.

9. Security

Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed, saved API keys are encrypted, and execution logs are not served by the website. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at contact@tangi.tech if you find a problem.

10. Children

The service is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact contact@tangi.tech and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will update this policy when what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email.
